From Roza’s deck
Nine of Wands
resilience · last stand · guardedness

Bandaged but standing at the fence — one more push; the wall you built still holds.
Reversed, it falls differently: Paranoia or burnout; defending against battles already over.
For the heart: Old wounds guard the gate; test whether this person is the old enemy — usually not.
For bread and coin: Nearly through; conserve energy and hold the line.
For the road ahead: You are stronger than the wound suggests — and almost done.
A card on a page is a word, child. A card your own hand draws is a sentence. There is a difference.
Every dawn one card waits face-down on my table — come and turn yours. Or bring the cards a full question: the table is there.
