Seven of Swords

Slipping from camp with five swords — cunning, evasion, or theft; someone acts unseen.

Reversed, it falls differently: The scheme exposed or conscience returning the swords.

For the heart: Something is done behind a back — verify before accusing, but verify.

For bread and coin: Guard your work; strategy is fine, deceit is expensive.

For the road ahead: If the plan requires darkness to survive, question the plan.

A card on a page is a word, child. A card your own hand draws is a sentence. There is a difference.

Every dawn one card waits face-down on my table — come and turn yours. Or bring the cards a full question: the table is there.
